Hadrians Wall Charity Walk

03/19/2013

wallI'm going to be joining some other comedians on a Charity Walk along Hadrian's Wall. As I've only got short legs I'll not be doing all of it, but meeting the longer legged folk halfway as they arrive in the town of Once Brewed, near Housesteads Fort, on April 1st (April Fools Day) and walking with them all the way to Newcastle Upon Tyne over three days.

The walk had been arranged by Nick Banks and Rib Ticklers Comedy Club and is in aid of the Children and Young Peoples Kidney Fund, which helps kidney disease suffers. You can make a donation to this good cause by visiting their Just Giving Page. Go on you know you want to.

About Hadrians Wall.
Hadrians Walls runs from East to West along the North of England and was built as a defence by the Romans to protect them from angry axe wielding Scotsmen around AD122. Many of the forts and ruins are still intact and make great places to visit.

I'll be doing lots of tweeting and photographing on the walk, so you can see where we are. You can follow the official twitter feed at @COMEDYWALK2013
