Farmer Phils and Muddy Thrills at the Galtres Festival.

It is the end of August and I have been to two more festivals. The sun was shining for Farmer Phil’s Festival and it was dry enough to sit down. Rob was there with his dog, as it is one of the few festivals you are allowed to take a dog too. I took a disposable BBQ and when it was very late and the bands and big noises had gone quiet, I got out my torch and cooked sausages in the dark.

Tenty, Vesty, Festy, Festy Festival!

I have bought a tent. I will be bringing my tent to three festivals of the summer, where I will be discovering new places and listening to music that is played live and not on the radio.

After the Oxford fringe in June,  I will be at the Kendal Calling festival in July, and Galtres and Shropshire in August.

At the the Kendal Calling festival I will be doing a thing on sunday 29th, just after 10pm. I am also going to watch Maximo Park, who I first heard on a cassette in a friends car, and who are from Newcastle, and aslso The Lancashire Hotpots, who sing jolly songs and dress in a practical way.… Continue Reading
